Ellie Zarrabian, Ph.D. Founder and Executive Director.
Dr. Ellie Zarrabian is the Founder and Director of Centerpeace Foundation 2008, and the Centerpeace Project 2014. She is also the forthcoming author of the book “Six Degrees of Liberation: Finding Inner Peace Through Conflict.” Born and raised in Tehran, Iran until the age of nine, Dr. Ellie and her family fled her native country in 1979 due to the Islamic Revolution and the Iran-Iraq war. She and her family settled in England as refugees, and eventually immigrated and settled in the United States in 1983. Dr. Ellie is a third generation Shamanic healer from the Sufi/ Jewish tradition of Iran and holds a doctorate degree in Transpersonal Psychology with certification in body oriented therapies. She has spent most of her life learning, teaching and practicing the principles of non-violence and peaceful co-existence with people of different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Mitch Hall, Ph.D. (h.c.) Training and Curriculum Development Consultant.
Mich Hall, Ph.D. (h.c.) in Alternative Medicines by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines in India, a B.A. in Religion from Columbia University and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Chicago. Dr. Hall is a Holistic Wellness Counselor, writer, and yoga teacher with years of service dedicated to holistic healing. He helps clients explore their wellness by integrating mindful breathing, movement practices, visualization, sound healing, and meditation into their counseling sessions. Dr. Hall’s writing is published in the fields of holistic health and peace-building. He sits on the Board of Directors of Parents and Teachers Against Violence in Education. During his career, he has gained rich life experience as a wellness counselor for disadvantaged, traumatized, inner-city youth; a holistic wellness counselor for complex-care patients on public assistance; a Peace Corps volunteer teacher in Togo, west Africa; a peace and environmental movement organizer in Europe with the Fellowship of Reconciliation; a professor, adviser to international students, academic program director, and academic dean in higher education; a French-English interpreter for African refugees; a writer, translator, and storyteller; and more. He is fluent in French and proficient in Spanish.
Mikhail Alexandrovich, web developer/designer, SEO responsible.
Mikhail is the owner of the Swedish Web Design and SEO company, Décor Art. Born in Russia, Mikhail moved to Sweden at a young age. He is fluent in English, Russian and Swedish. This triad is what Mikhail considers to be a true blessing, as he uses all three languages on a daily basis to communicate with family, friends and clients internationally. Having studied marketing, business, psychology and rhetorics at the university, Mikhail possesses a broad spectrum of interests and skills which enable him to understand the needs of his clients at a deeper level. His continued interest and study in mystical teachings give Mikhail the balance to create a framework for practicing a conscious approach to business and marketing. His collaboration with non-profit organizations like Centerpeace allows him to bring his expertise in information technology, design and spirituality to co-creating socially responsible and innovative systems of management and operations online.
Shulamit Sofia, MSW – Non-profit Management Consultant, Program Developer, Board Member.
Shulamit Sofia, MSW, is the Founder and President of The Sacred Ladder and Soul Strength Seminars. She has been a university professor, clinical therapist, program developer, consultant and international speaker. As Founder and President of two non profits: Parents Place and Caring For Children, she has directed training programs in three major cities for police officers dealing with children in crisis as well as worldwide for caregivers of children in orphanages. This training combined with providing over 250,000 Teddy Bears has helped children in crisis experience more safety and security. Shulamit Sofia holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University and the National Institute of Mental Health, as well as certification in spiritual leadership. She is the author of nine training manuals, “Psalms for a Sunny Day”. She now teaches Soul Strength Seminars based on her book “Climbing the Sacred Ladder: Your Path to Love, Joy, Peace and Purpose.”
